ICAP Introductory Letter to Legislators, May 2020

Dear Legislator,

Idaho Children Are Primary Inc (ICAP), is a non-profit 501c4 organization led by a group of thought leaders with the common goal of advocating for the well-being of children and families in the state of Idaho.

ICAP represents a diverse group of policy makers, business leaders, educators, physicians and other advocates for families and children. Despite our different backgrounds and agendas, we all have the same goal in mind when it comes to policy and law: bringing the welfare of Idaho children to the forefront.

Along with this introductory letter, please see our Kids Matter Index on the back of this letter, which provides your individual votes on 10 pieces of legislation. This index evaluates bills pertaining to children by asking the question: “Is this good for Idaho kids?”

Our goal is to support you and provide advice based on data and analysis. We want to ensure that you have all the information on these issues that impact Idaho children and families.

Stay tuned for our upcoming website and Facebook page. We are looking forward to working with you in the next session.

Sincerely yours,

ICAP Advisory Board

A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove... but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.” -Forest E. Witcraft
